Crystals
You picked your stone for a reason. Here's what your crystal wants you to know:
Green Aventurine
The Stone of Opportunity
Heart Chakra ~ Luck ~ Growth
Green aventurine is the luckiest crystal in the game. It's a variety of quartz shot through with flecks of green mica, and it works with the heart chakra — not just romantic love, but the kind of deep openness that lets you say yes to what's next.
It's known for calming anxiety and creating space for new opportunities to land. Carry it as a reminder to stay open to possibility, trust yourself, and welcome new opportunities with confidence. Green Aventurine is the perfect companion when you're manifesting, taking a leap of faith, or calling in your next chapter.
You might have picked this if…
You're ready for a fresh start, a new chapter, or just to stop white-knuckling your way through life. Green aventurine says: loosen your grip. What's meant for you won't pass you by.
The Stone of Courage
Sacral Chakra ~ Confidence ~ Creativity
Carnelian
Carnelian is liquid fire in stone form — warm oranges and reds that have been used for protection and power since the ancient Egyptians. It's a sacral chakra stone, which means it's working in the territory of desire, creativity, and your sense of agency in the world.
It's the crystal you want when you need to stop overthinking and start doing. It builds confidence, reignites motivation, and reminds you that you're allowed to take up space. It's also deeply connected to creative and sexual energy — the raw, generative force that makes things happen.
You might have picked this if…
You've been playing small, dimming your light, or waiting for permission that's never going to come. Carnelian says: stop asking. Start moving. The fire is already in you.
Hematite
The Stone of Grounding
Root Chakra ~ Protection ~ Balance
Hematite is iron oxide — literally made of the same stuff as your blood. That metallic weight in your hand isn't decorative; it's the densest, most grounding stone you can carry. It works with the root chakra, anchoring you to the earth when everything around you feels chaotic or unsteady.
It's a powerful energy shield, absorbing negativity and transforming it into calm. It sharpens focus, steadies the nervous system, and helps you feel solid in your own body. When the world is spinning, hematite is the stone that says: you are here, you are safe, you are enough.
You might have picked this if…
You're carrying too much — other people's energy, your own anxiety, the weight of everything you can't control. Hematite says: put it down. Not everything is yours to hold.
Tarot Cards
Every card tells a story. Here’s yours:
Ace of Swords
The Ace of Swords is a call to arms.
The Ace of Swords demands that you shine as bright as you can, be as loud as you want, and take up all the space you need. And if people think you’re being too loud or shining too bright, tell them to put on earmuffs and get some sunglasses, because their comfort is not your concern.
The world needs you at maximum capacity and that means showing up unapologetically in the world as your authentic self—knowing that it is enough because you are enough.
This card is telling you to own your choices and let your freak flag fly without needing anyone else’s permission. Don’t worry about appealing to everyone because that’s impossible—be yourself and your people will be drawn to you like a magnet. Those who don’t resonate with you will go off and find someone who does, which is great because it creates more space for your people.
You’re like a brilliantly colored peacock with its tail down and feathers tucked away, keeping small and tiptoeing along quietly so as not to draw too much attention. The Ace of Swords is saying that’s not going to cut it anymore. It’s time to plant your feet center stage, get those tail feathers out, and start shaking them like a Vegas showgirl.
Claim your space, use your voice, and own your truth—in all of its big, boisterous, beautiful glory.
The Fool
The Fool is telling you ta take the leap.
The Fool wants you to have faith in yourself and start with a single step, which often requires blissful ignorance and blind optimism.
You’re being called to move from a place of inaction to action. Get momentum going so that the Universe has something to get behind. Don’t carry the burden of planning, visualizing, and executing every single step—let the Universe play a role in the process (which, spoiler alert, is happening whether we realize it or not).
Remember that we don’t know what we don’t know and the Universe has a better plan for us than we have for ourselves. Think back to a time in your life when you got what you wanted, but could never have predicted how it would all play out?
Take the proof of these moments in your past to help you have faith moving forward that they could happen again.
The vibe of The Fool is like standing on a diving board and looking into the pool, thinking, Is there water down there? Is it safe for me to jump? I can’t see! The Fool is telling you that of course you can jump because there is water in the pool—you just don’t know the temperature. And it’s not boiling water, nor is it ice…it’s something you can handle.
But you won’t know until you jump.
The Sun
The Sun is a hug from the Universe.
The Sun is reassuring you that you’re doing an amazing job. This is a card of pure happiness, joy, and light—nourishing, loving, and protecting all of the cards around it.
The Sun is also the best health card in the deck for me—not just physical health, but spiritual and emotional healing as well.
As one of the luckiest cards—in addition to the Wheel of Fortune, The Star, and The World—The Sun is teaching a lesson to get at that luck and although it sounds relatively simple, I think it’s the hardest one of all.
In order to immerse yourself and marinate in The Sun’s loving, enthusiastic, lucky energy, you have to let that sunshine in. You need to allow, receive, and accept rather than deflect, reject, or minimize.
When someone says you look amazing, don’t respond with, “Omigod I haven’t slept in a month.” Instead, say “Thank you.” What you’re really saying is “I welcome that. I honor and deserve it. More please. Keep it coming.”
You must show the Universe that you are ready to receive and know how to allow—whether it’s a compliment, a bank loan, a job, or a person. That’s the key to harnessing the beautifully radiant lucky energy of abundance that The Sun has to offer.
Journal Prompts
These prompts are designed to help you celebrate the courage you have shown today, and to support you as you continue to release limitations and receive abundance in all its forms. Choose a prompt that resonates and see where it takes you.
Before you begin
Sit in a comfortable position.
Take three slow breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Feel how your body is supported by whatever is beneath you.
Notice your emotions and physical sensations. Let these appear in your writing.
Personal integration (in any order)
Set a timer for 5 to 15 minutes and free write. Pay no attention to grammar or content. Let a stream of consciousness flow. Come back and read it after a break.
What did you give yourself permission to release today, even briefly? What did that lightness feel like physically? Breathe into the spaciousness and notice what arises.
Name one form of abundance you received today that you might have otherwise overlooked. Rest, laughter, warmth, and a moment of ease all count. Where do you feel that in your body? Naming it helps you recognize it in the future.
Where in your body do you feel most open right now? Where do you feel held or guarded? What are these sensations telling you?
What new awareness do you have after this experience?
What surprised you about today, and why?
What parts of you need to be celebrated? Choose at least one and lean into the celebration. This is a practice of receiving.
What parts of you need some additional care? What does this part need to know, or hear?
What are some small, actionable steps that future you will take this week? It could be as small as eating a nutritious breakfast, or making that phone call you have been avoiding.
