The Truth About Tarot
Spoiler alert: there is nothing magical about tarot cards. They’re just 78 pieces of paper with pretty pictures. Some look friendlier than others (I see you, Devil), but none of them will hurt you. What they can do is inform you.
Call it divine light, intuition, universe, cosmic connection, higher wisdom, or whatever feels right for you - tarot cards tap into the energy around us to help tell a story that gives clarity, validation or guidance around a situation, person, etc. It's not fortune-telling (but it is a tool to help you tap into psychic energy).
But you have free will, so what you choose to do with this information is up to you.
Intention is everything. If someone is determined to access negative energy using tarot, the cards are going to deliver because they're a tool.
I can pick up a hammer and use it to build a bookcase or smash a window - it's still just a hammer that I made a choice to use in a specific way.
